challenge
The World Design Summit, the first edition of which took place in Montreal in 2017, brought together several international graphic design, architecture, landscape design, interior design, and industrial design organizations. As this was the first global event, not only was it necessary to come up with a platform simple enough to represent the 5 design disciplines, it also had to be firmly entrenched in such a way as to get the whole world to take notice.
strategy
Showcase the positive impact that the design disciplines must have on our world as active agents of change.
objectives
Help change the conversation surrounding design disciplines—from one that is exclusively aesthetic to one about the global impact they have on our world. Guide the organization at each stage of the development of their marketing strategy—from the brand platform to the tools to the performance of pre-event marketing.
putting it to work
Build and roll out various initiatives supporting all points of contact with the participants—website, email programs, communications campaign, social media, and visitor experience.
